Mainstream feminism, or should I say Western feminism, does not say anything about removing choices, but they tend to assume that minority societies need liberation into the “progressive” Western culture without even asking them whether they want it or not. Do you even know that the root of the whole speculation about Muslim women actually came from the British when they used the veil and treatment of Muslim women to justify the colonialism? How do you tell if “many women are forced to wear it because of the “hundreds of men” who claim they have to” or they choose it by their own free will? If there are any solid statistics of Muslim women saying that they are forced by men to be Muslim and need to be freed from their own religion, do enlighten me. 

As a matter of fact, many people are simply born into a culture, and they learn to embrace it, even though there are always some downsides to it. Also, it’s important to note that it is feminismS because not all societies share the same idea of feminism and how it applies.
